The house benefits from lovely sea views over Church Bay and is literally a 2-minute walk into the village centre and seafront, the beach being only a further 2/3 mins walk away. Delfryn is a traditional Welsh Cottage built over 200 years ago yet refurbished with a contemporary feel, it is ideal for couples or small families offering comfort and an opportunity to relax in comfortable surroundings.
The house has 3 double bedrooms, 2 well furnished lounges -one downstairs on the ground floor with a dining area which has a large glass dining table, French Connection sofas and armchair, a Stable door - ideal for those sunny mornings to breathe in the sea air, it has a large wall mounted Smart TV together with occasional furniture, it also benefits from a newly installed electric log burner which adds to the atmosphere, there is a glass staircase balustrade leading upstairs to the first floor where there is a second lounge which has a wall mounted TV, 2 sofas, an armchair and other occasional furniture, great sea views are available from this lounge over Church Bay and Cambrian mountains beyond.
The main family bathroom is also on this floor which has a power shower, a slipper bath, washbasin, and WC.
A double bedroom is also located on the first floor and has a double bed, vanity/dressing table and general hanging space. for your clothes.
Back on the ground floor is the kitchen, although not a huge it has all amenities including oven, grill, hobs, larder fridge, kettle, toaster Tassimo Coffee machine, cafetiere, dishwasher, lots of plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans etc. The kitchen has kept its original features including a beamed ceiling together with an original quarry tile floor. From the kitchen leads you to a rear yard which has a Utility room with washing machine, freezer, WC and sink.
The garden is reached from the rear yard however there are several steps and care is required when going up/coming down. children must be always supervised, the garden is unusual as most gardens are in Aberdovey and is partly shared when first accessing however there are 2 fenced off private patios which belong to Delfryn, the garden area offers views over Aberdovey and out to sea, there is a BBQ area including a charcoal BBQ, there are a number of seats and tables available for you.
Back to the second floor in the cottage which is reached by the internal stairs and landing this floor has 2 further double bedrooms, the main bedroom has fantastic sea views from both windows, occasional furniture together with a wash basin, the other double bedroom has occasional furniture, washbasin, a vanity/dressing table and general hanging space for your clothes.
Delfryn is well furnished with modern amenities including high speed fibre optic broadband available throughout the property, there are games/books for adults as well as children, bucket and spades for the beach and crabbing lines for the kids (DADS).
Delfryn is fully centrally heated and includes full use of electric and gas, bed linen/towels are provided for all persons, it offers all year-round holidays and is as cosy and comfortable in the winter as well as the summer.
A parking pass is provided for you to park for FREE in either of Aberdovey's main car parks although there is also parking nearby subject to availability.
